Residents are invited to sign up and display decorated trucks of various vehicles in the parking lot where children of all ages can ask for candy.

“It’s about keeping the borough safe,” Mayor James Rotundo said. "We’re working with the police department to ensure a safe environment where the community can celebrate and have fun.”

Residents are invited to attend the event in non-scary costumes and to contribute to the Palisades Park Tigers’ cheerleaders, who are raising money for upcoming trips and equipment.

“People come up with all kinds of ideas,” resident Maria Henley said. “I’ve seen them really deck out their cars in themes. It’s all over New Jersey, so why not here?”
